Ski - Adults

Adult group courses

  • For beginners and advanced skiers (E1 - E5)
  • Course time: 11.30 - 13.30
  • Meeting time: 11.20
  • Course duration: 3 days, from Monday

 

  Course Levels

  • Course extensions for the next day must be made at the LAAX School office before 4pm.
  • Accident insurance is the responsibility of the participant.
  • The course will take place regardless of weather conditions.
  • Classes of the same level might be merged at the end of the week.
  • Lessons must be attended on consecutive days.
  • Lift tickets are not included in the price.
  • Lift tickets are not required for children below the age of six. Lift tickets are not required to access the snow wonderland (at the base station). Once the children ski on the mountain, all children aged six or older require a lift ticket. In combination with a course, the LAAX School offers reduced-price lift tickets for beginners up to Blue 2.
  • Minimum number of participants in children’s group courses: four people.
  • Prepare your child to leave them at the meeting point and keep the farewell brief. This will make it easier to get started.
  • Equipment: helmet, ski goggles, gloves, sunscreen, weather-appropriate clothing, appropriate ski gear.
  • Cancellation of a lesson must be made by 4pm before the first day of the course.
  • Refunds are only issued on submission of a certificate from a doctor based in the Chur – Ilanz region.

First descent on the mountain / travelling by lift / safe, fluid descent in snow plough position on blue pistes on the mountain

Blue 3
Requirements

Travelling unaccompanied by lift, safe descent in snow plough position

Parallel ski position between turns (parallel traverse) / skidding in parallel ski position / box / descent on blue pistes in snow plough and partially parallel position (increased speed) / first jumps

Blue 4 / E3
Requirements

Safe, fluid descent on blue pistes in snow plough and partially parallel ski position

Indepent skiing on blue pistes / small jumps / parallel turns on blue pistes

Red 1
