We know how to make a snowboarder happy. Not just since yesterday, but for many years, we have trained extensively to offer you the very best coaching.
From the beginner to the experienced boarder, with a little practice, you can get around in the Curnius Snowpark, also known as the P60, or in the largest halfpipe in the world. Do not hesitate, snowboarding is simply FUN.

  • Course extensions for the next day must be made at the LAAX School office before 4pm.
  • Accident insurance is the responsibility of the participant.
  • The course will take place regardless of weather conditions.
  • Classes of the same level might be merged at the end of the week.
  • Lessons must be attended on consecutive days.
  • Lift tickets are not included in the price. All children aged six or older require a lift ticket. In conjunction with snowboard level 1, the LAAX School offers heavily reduced lift ticket prices.
  • Minimum number of participants in children’s and teenagers’ group courses: Four people.
  • Equipment: helmet, ski goggles, gloves, sunscreen, weather-appropriate clothing, appropriate gear.
  • Cancellation of a lesson must be made by 4pm before the first day of the course.
  • Refunds are only issued on submission of a certificate from a doctor based in the Chur–Ilanz region.

Level 1
Requirements

No requirements - Beginners aged six or older

Course elements

Sliding and slowing down, speed control, turning on blue slopes, button lift

Level 1+
Requirements

Skid on both edges, use a practice lift, ride in the fall line

You’ve already done a level 1 course or have practised by yourself a bit, and you need a few more tips so you can master a blue piste with safe turns.

Course elements

Improving turning technique, line selection on the slope, traverse carving, switching, first tricks, red slopes

Level 3
Requirements

Turning on red slopes, traverse carving, safe, smooth descent on red slopes, switch riding

Turning technique on steep, hilly ground, carved turns, basics park (boxes, pipe, jumps), black slopes

All Mountain
Requirements

Level 3 complete, turning technique on steep, hilly ground, carved turning technique, basic air, pipe basic run

Course elements

short turns, turning technique off piste, slope spins, 180 / switch 180, more tricks in park and pipe

Freestyle 1
Requirements

Freestyle Beginner - Level 3 complete, turning technique on steep, hilly ground, carved turning technique, basic air, pipe basic run

Course elements

switch carving, slides and big airs, expand slope, park and pipe trick repertoire

Freestyle 2
Requirements

Freestyle advanced - Freestyle Level 1 completed
